Director Timothy J. Nelson brought us the great news that Jake’s next movie "The Assignment" will be finished January 2010! Earlier this year we received word from Timothy about the movie, and this is what he had to say: "This is a very provocative high school story about a kid who is given The Assignment to research her own personal history only to find not only that she was adopted, but discovered her father was the least likely suspects. In April Jake traveled to Salt lake City for four weeks to film a leading role in the film, The Assignment, for director Tim Nelson. The film wrapped 5/23. We were in American Fork Utah. Now in Mount Pleasant Utah at Wasatch Academy. We have seen other actors shooting High School Musical 3 in Salt Lake City. We also added new pictures on the picture page!

Eighteen year old actor Jake Thomas was the lead guest star on ER, Thursday, April 17th at 10PM/9PM CDT on NBC. Jake played a character who was suspected of beating his father. The episode is entitled "As the Day She was Born."
