Without a Trace: Wannabe
Eric Miller seems like the average twelve-year-old, but the clues found at the scene suggest that he may have been abducted. After the team learns about a picture circulating of Eric in an embarrassing position, they begin to wonder if there was any foul play intended at all, and the words of the school guidance counselor only seem to point in that direction.
The episode was one of the highest rated episodes...(Studio City) In February, fourteen year old child star, Jake Thomas (Lizzie McGuire, Artificial Intelligence), made a dramatic turn from his comedic LIZZIE McGUIRE character and starred in CBS's "Without A Trace" as a young boy that was bullied by classmates with near-tragic results. That episode had nearly 21 million viewers who at the end of the show saw a suicide prevention number. Within three minutes that number received over 400 calls. Friday the CBS Early Show is airing a story on bullies in our schools today. They are showing how that episode of "Without A Trace" has become suggested for viewing in schools across the nation. See CBS News or here. This was a very intense role for Jake that called for him to perform in some compromising and difficult circumstances. The filming called for a stunt coordinator to be present during many of his scenes while Jake performed all his own stunts needed for this physical role. There is no announcement on when this episode will repeat, but when it does parents may want to watch this episode with their teenage children. This episode is available on DVD, in the Season 2 box, on the third disc. By: federica I have been needled many times at school when I was 14 years old so I know how it is. The whole world seems to be against you. Even your best friend, because he is afraid to be needled too when he supports you. So it was very courageous of Darren to support Eric. I was very touched when I saw Danny crying over Eric and even more when Eric cried on the phone talking to his parents for the ’last’ time. It never crossed my mind to kill myself. And I am glad because after all the best years were still to come. It is all a long time ago because I am 52 years old now. By: gc.kromhout i went through a lot of the stuuf "eric" did i have had girls beat me up every day set my locker on fire (well the inside) ,cut my hair ,make me feel like sh*t so i turned to cutting and a few months later people started to fiind out and things just got worse from there i coulnt even go outside without being as scared as hell that i was going to get beat up by my classmates,or kids in my apt. complex EVERYONE would treat me like sh*t i didnt have any friends and i coulnt tell anyone either because of the threats so on september 4th of 2008 i decided to end everything by taking a bunch of pills i found and but it didnt work i was found and brought to the ER and had to stay there for about a week annd after that i had to go to a mentel hospital for some help ...it didnt help in fact i think i justt made things worse there coz a girl there had hung herself(but survived) after i was released i had the best counslers in the city working with me and my school counsler worked something out to get me into alternitive program which has less kids and better help but that just seemed to make things worse so i got really depressed more then ever and tried to kill myself last febuary and got sent to another mental hospital for a month and it was torture but they really helped me i mean if you looked back from me from now to a year ago it would be like 2 different people and i now know that i can make a diffrence with other kids who are going through with the same problems i was going through ,i am now 14 years old living on vancuver island with my perfect boyfriend(well almost perfect but stil...) and amazing friends and about to go to school in the fall without any worries (oh yeah umm i moved frum tri-cities where all the sh*t took place) By: caylabaybeex_x I Really Say Your Shows Are Awesome !!!!!!!
