Eric Miller seems like the average twelve-year-old, but the clues found at the scene suggest that he may have been abducted. After the team learns about a picture circulating of Eric in an embarrassing position, they begin to wonder if there was any foul play intended at all, and the words of the school guidance counselor only seem to point in that direction.

The episode was one of the highest rated episodes...

(Studio City) In February, fourteen year old child star, Jake Thomas (Lizzie McGuire, Artificial Intelligence), made a dramatic turn from his comedic LIZZIE McGUIRE character and starred in CBS's "Without A Trace" as a young boy that was bullied by classmates with near-tragic results. That episode had nearly 21 million viewers who at the end of the show saw a suicide prevention number. Within three minutes that number received over 400 calls.

Friday the CBS Early Show is airing a story on bullies in our schools today. They are showing how that episode of "Without A Trace" has become suggested for viewing in schools across the nation. See CBS News or here.

This was a very intense role for Jake that called for him to perform in some compromising and difficult circumstances. The filming called for a stunt coordinator to be present during many of his scenes while Jake performed all his own stunts needed for this physical role. There is no announcement on when this episode will repeat, but when it does parents may want to watch this episode with their teenage children. This episode is available on DVD, in the Season 2 box, on the third disc.

I don’t know if words could describe how much I love ’Wannabe’ it’s the only episode of ’Without A Trace’ I’ve ever seen... in fact I think it’s the best episode of any TV show ever created.
My opinion might be a bit biased because I’m a huge Jake fan. But I absolutely loved it!
It was breathtaking and I cried so much.
Jake is amazing in it ... again that may be a slightly biased opinion cos I love him so much, but anyone would have to agree that he was really believable.
I highly recommend that you watch it...
I loved it so much, best TV episode ever created!

First I never heard from Without a Trace, but as soon as I noticed Jake Thomas was in one of those episodes, I started it watching, with no regrets.

Since I saw Jake's episode, I became a huge fan of Jake Thomas and of Without a Trace. Everything just seemed perfect in this episode. Lot's of speed, great acting, and a great way how it all ended up.

I believe many teenagers, including me are like this Eric. When your not the most cool person, you end up quickly as the biggest loser. And Eric (Jake) was like that. Everything you try to do to get up on the social level, just makes it worse and worse. And I believe so that many teenagers would think what's the point of life when no one cares about him.

I think this episode should be shown in every school, just to show those teenagers that they are not alone.
